Fred Rogers loved kids. He had a TV show just for them. It was called “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood [NAY-ber-hood].”

Paul Day made a statue of Mr. Rogers. It is at Rollins College in Florida.

Pray: Ask God to make you a wise and loving friend.

Read More: Fred McFeely Rogers studied music and became an ordained minister. He was called to serve children and families through television. He once said, “The world is not always a kind place. It’s something [children] really need our help to understand.” And that is what he did for over 30 years. He used puppets, make-believe, and music. The new statue is part of a “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Walking Tour” at Rollins College in Winter Park. Proverbs 22:11 says, “He whose speech is gracious will have the king as his friend.”
