A rock from Mars is at a museum in Maine. It is almost as heavy as you!

Scientists think a big space rock hit Mars. That knocked this chunk loose.  It traveled a long way. It crashed to Earth.

Read More: The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum in Bethel has the Mars rock. It weighs 32 pounds and is 10 inches at its longest point. An asteroid in space probably hit Mars. That sent this rock flying away toward Earth. The meteorite landed in the desert of Mali. The big rock is called “Taoudenni 002.” It is on display in the same room at the museum as Earth’s largest known piece of the Moon. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” Read Psalm 19:1.
