Citizen scientists (regular people) helped out. They counted birds. They kept track of rainfall. They did many other things too.

They used their eyes and ears to observe plant growth and animal migration, find new insects, and much more. They logged on to the internet and sent the information to scientists. Genesis 5:1 tells us, “When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.”
