“Mary had a little lamb.”  Do you know that song?  Mary’s lamb comes to school.

This school has lambs too.  Kids learn to farm.  City cars go ZOOM!  Cuddly lambs say baaaa.

Pray: Thank God that we can learn to care for animals. This work prepares us for life.

It’s not every day kids get to go to school with sheep, alpacas, and pigs—especially in the city! But kids near Liverpool, England, do. Woodchurch High School started a farm on its grounds. Students learn to care for animals. They help breed North Ronaldsay sheep. Those sheep eat seaweed. They also are endangered. The sheep have had lambs every year at Woodchurch. Some Woodchurch students grow up to become veterinarians or farmers.

“It is He who made us, and we are His. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” (Psalm 100:3)
