This is Percy.  He looks just like a real porcupine.  But he is two stories tall!

His eyes blink.  His mouth opens.  He has hand-carved foam quills.

Percy will live at a new wildlife park at the San Diego Zoo.

Pray: God is pleased to give His children joy. Thank Him for all the things that make you happy.

Read More: Percy can be blown up or flattened. That makes the puppet easier to move. Percy was made to look like Boris. He is a real South American prehensile-tailed porcupine. He can grab things with his tail. Percy has no tail. He stays tucked inside his log. It took workers at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop more than 1,000 hours to make Percy. (Mr. Henson created the Muppets.) The Wildlife Explorers Basecamp will be Percy’s new home. Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness.”
