Lucas lives in Chile (CHEE-lay).  People must cross a river to get where he lives.  A fire sparked.

Lucas rowed people who fight fires across the water.  He and his yellow boat helped many.

Pray: Thank God for people who work together to help one another. Pray fires will be put out in Chile.

Read More: Lucas Cespedes is 13. He lives on the outer edge of Valdivia, Chile. Terrible wildfires rage there. A drought has lasted over a decade. It harms farming and mining land. Dry land is quick to catch fire. Over 840,000 acres have burned. Lucas rows firefighters across the Futa River. The river is almost 100 feet wide. Lucas says, “There was no other person who could ferry people, so the only hope was me.”

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have.” (Hebrews 13:16)
