These scientists bored holes in the ice.  They collected ice chunks from Lake Huron.  They scooped up water too.

They will study their finds.  They want to keep all of the Great Lakes healthy.

Pray: Ask God to give us wisdom to care for His creation.

Read More: Researchers from Central Michigan University drilled holes into the deep ice on Lake Huron in February. These scientists took part in a larger study of all the Great Lakes. They want to know what is in the water at all times of the year. Pollution, invasive species, and the growth of algae have caused damage to native grasses and fish in these lakes. The researchers hope to learn how to help stop this damage. God tells Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:28 to “have dominion over the fish of the sea.”
