Books. A librarian. Wiggly kids. What do these mean? Story hour!

Kids are stuck at home. How do they have story hour? On the radio!

Stories. Dance breaks. Calls to say “Hello.” It’s Thursday story hour from KBBI.

READ MORE: Kids in and around Homer, Alaska, were stuck at home like you this spring. Librarian Claudia Haines had an idea: Read stories over the radio. Station KBBI’s engineer helped. And Thursday story hour was on the air. Little kids, bigger kids, moms, and dads all listened in. The children could call the station at the end. They could say, “Hi!” or “Happy Birthday!” to friends. It is right to look to the interests of others. It is what Jesus does. Read Philippians 2:4.
