Mrs. Adlong found a baby bird on the ground.  She could not find its parents.  Baby birds need to stay warm.

Mrs. Adlong heated a tortilla.  She wrapped the bird in it!

Pray: Thank God for people who care for His creatures in clever ways.

Katie Adlong and her family live in Texas. They swam and barbecued at their house in July. They spotted a baby bird. No adult birds were near. Mrs. Adlong warmed a tortilla on the grill. She wrapped the feathered friend in it. The family called Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Their workers came to get the bird. They say it is a Mississippi kite. They named it Taquito. They feed her every two hours from sunrise to sunset. She is growing strong.

Jesus said not even one bird is forgotten before God. (Luke 12:6)
