Mr. C. got a new job.  He takes care of the king’s ravens.  He makes sure these 7 black birds stay healthy.

The raven he likes best is Poppy.  He gives Poppy tasty mouse snacks.

Pray: Thank God He gives us the fun job of caring for creatures He made.

Michael “Barney” Chandler became the new ravenmaster in March at England’s Tower of London. Mr. Chandler is 56 and a former Royal Marine. A legend says the kingdom of England will fall if ravens leave the tower. Mr. Chandler leads a team of four other wardens. They make sure the seven ravens stay healthy and well fed. Mr. Chandler says the birds are some of the smartest animals.

Jesus told us to consider ravens. They cannot plant or store food. But God feeds them. “How much more value are you than the birds!” (Luke 12:24)
