The baby orangutan [oh-rang-eh-tan] was not growing.  His mom did not make enough milk.

Zoo keepers helped out.  They wore furry vests.  They fed the baby from a bottle.  He is getting bigger.

Pray: Maybe you would like to work with zoo animals one day. Thank God that there are so many ways we can care for His creation.

Read More: The baby orangutan was born on Christmas Eve at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sometimes mother animals need help with their first babies. Zookeepers fed Menari’s baby. They also gave his mom medicine to help her make more milk. They put him in front of his family for hours every day. His dad and older siblings seemed eager to get to know him. Psalm 147:9 says, “He gives to the beasts their food.”
