Summer is time for hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean. Strong wind blows. Rain pounds. Water rises.

The same kind of storm happens in the Indian Ocean. It is called a cyclone. A powerful one hit India in May.

READ MORE: A hurricane forms over warm ocean water. Warm, wet air rises. Soon clouds form. They begin to spin and blow toward land. Atlantic hurricanes usually hit the United States between June 1 and November 30 each year. But the first storm this year (named “Arthur”) came in May. Cyclones form in the North Indian Ocean from March to December. Cyclone Amphan battered India, also in May. Psalm 135:7 tells us that God “brings forth the wind from His storehouses.”
