What is that giant in the yard?  It is a chicken.  It is as tall as a 6-year-old!  Mr. Braz raises the birds.

Does it look scary?  Do not worry.  These chickens are friendly!

Pray: Thank God for every animal He has made. Do you like scrambled eggs? Thank God for chickens.

Farmer Rubens Braz has bred Brazilian chickens for about 20 years. He has around 300 birds. His Indian Giant chickens can grow up to four feet tall. One rooster can cost as much as $4,000. A seller of this breed describes the birds as “all beak and no bite.” They can be “lovable lap chickens” if chicks get used to people right after they hatch. Hens lay an average of 160 huge eggs each year.

“I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine.” (Psalm 50:11)
