The Birch Aquarium has good news.
Tiny seahorse cousins have hatched. They look like bits of seaweed. They are weedy sea dragons!
How many of them live in the wild? No one knows. They are hard to find. Can you see why?
READ MORE: The Birch Aquarium is in California. It has a huge tank just for sea horses and their cousins, called “leafy” and “weedy” sea dragons. These live in the wild in remote parts of the ocean near Australia. Two-inch-long weedy sea dragons are the first ever to hatch at this aquarium. Workers want to breed the weedy sea dragons to protect them. The fish of the sea tell us that the life of every living thing is in God’s hand. And He lets us take care of them! See Job 12:8-10 and Genesis 1:26.
