The reef is all theirs.
Thieves like Helen Reef. Why? Weird fish flop there. Wild birds fly. Sea cucumbers slide.
Watch out, robbers! Do not catch animals. Rangers guard the reef.
Pray: Thank God for making a wild world. Many kinds of creatures can live together well.

A few rangers protect Helen Reef. That island lies in the western Pacific Ocean. It is shaped like a ring. The rangers work far from their families for three months at a time. Precious plants and animals need their help. Poachers want bumphead parrotfish. Thieves hunt hawksbill sea turtles and birds. Reef rangers keep these and other creatures safe. They travel two days by boat to get to work.
“Praise the Lord from the Earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps.” (Psalm 148:7)
