There is a place where teen girls cannot go to school.  Girls want to read, write, and study.

Teachers and writers gave books.  Now women and girls have a library.

Pray: Pray leaders in Afghanistan will allow all girls to go to school. It is a gift to learn from skilled teachers.

Read More: A group called the Taliban took over Afghanistan’s government last year. Leaders said they would open girls’ high schools by March. They did not keep their promise. They believe Islam’s laws do not support older girls going to school. Women also are not to leave the house without a male relative. A women’s rights group set up a library. It has over 1,000 books. Teen girls can check out books. Women who have lost their jobs also benefit from the library. Jesus welcomed women who wanted to learn from Him. (Luke 10:39-42)
