People work on top of this mountain. Cable cars take them up and down.

The cars move on a thick wire. Winter ice covered the cable.

Workers spent the night in the tram cars. What a rescue they got!

Pray for all people who put their lives in danger to help others.

Read More: Some employees of the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway and a mountaintop restaurant work high up in the Sandia Mountains. Those rise above Albuquerque, New Mexico. A group of 20 workers boarded one tram car for a ride down the mountain after work. One employee was on his way up to work in another car. All spent the night in the heated cars. Rescuers the next day used ropes to lower each person 85 feet to the ground. Yikes! Then the workers were flown to the city by helicopter. Now that’s a story to tell! The rescuers hiked part way up the mountain, climbed a tower, and then lowered each person to safety. John 15:13 reminds us, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”
