Divers in Israel found two wrecked ships near an old city. Bells, coins, nails, AND a gold ring were in the sand.

A shepherd was carved on the ring. He has a sheep on his shoulder. Could it be the Good Shepherd?

Pray: Thank God for this surprising find. Most people in Israel are not believers in Jesus. Pray that some will want to learn more about the Good Shepherd.

Read More: The Israel Antiquities Authority deals with items found in or near Israel that are from very old times. The treasure could be 1,700 years old! The ships wrecked near the old port city of Caesarea. That port had been built by Herod the Great. He was King of the Jews when Jesus was born. The Roman ring has a green gemstone. The carving was on this stone. Perhaps a Christian who lived in Rome centuries ago wore this ring. Jesus says in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”
