When Mr. Sonnemann comes into town to set up a new shop, the locals wonder if he will be a doctor, a tailor, or a trader. He ends up being what all the children quietly hope for. He is a seller of sugary treats! More importantly, he brings the beautiful message of the candy cane. It points to the greatest gift of all: Jesus!
