Read More: Mr. Heang Uy (Hen Oy) was one year old when his family fled Cambodia in 1979. A leader named Pol Pot wanted to build a strong farming nation. He forced people to work long days in rice fields. Christians gave the Uy family a new home and life in Tennessee. Mr. Uy has been a history teacher and coach for 23 years in Western North Carolina. His students and friends are thankful for him!

The Israelites were once foreigners in Egypt. God taught them to love people from other nations. (Deuteronomy 10:19)
