Ahh.   Smell those flowers.  Look at the bright colors.  Now you can enjoy your garden at night.

Some mushrooms glow in the dark.  Dr. Wood mixed one with a flower.  The new flower glows!

Pray: Thank God for the beauty of flowers.  They bring light to our lives in many ways.

Scientist Dr. Keith Wood had a grand idea. He took genes from a glowing mushroom and other fungi. He put them into genes of a white petunia. He grew a plant. Turn out the lights. Look for a greenish-white glow! It is the Firefly Petunia. This petunia does not need special light or food. Each plant is about $30. Put one in good soil. Make sure it gets enough sunlight. It will glow brighter the healthier it is.

“The flowers appear on the Earth. The time of singing has come.” (Song of Solomon 2:12)
