Myrtle needs a checkup.
Myrtle may turn 100 in about 5 years. Lift her up! Can her legs move well? Do her eyes, ears, and nose work?
Vets say yes. They check the turtle twice each year.
Pray: Thank God for smart vets. They help animals stay healthy.

Kids come to see Myrtle at the New England Aquarium. (That is in Boston, Massachusetts.) Their parents visited Myrtle when they were kids too. Myrtle the turtle is heavy. She weighs 500 pounds! Divers lead her into a huge crate underwater. Workers use a chain to pull her up. It feels like lifting a piano. Vets check her. Visitors watch. Myrtle is healthy. She loves having her shell scratched. Back to the tank she goes!
“So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves.” (Genesis 1:21)
