It is too hot for monkey fights.
These monkeys used to fight. They fought over food. They fought over shade in the heat. Then a storm came. Many trees blew down.
Now the monkeys fight less. They share shade with each other.
Pray: Thank God creatures can learn to share. Pray people learn to share more too.

Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017. Cayo Santiago is a small island to the east. It lost more than half its vegetation. It is also called Monkey Island. Rhesus macaques live there. They are famous for fighting. Their island is often more than 100 degrees. Fewer trees mean less shade. Did the monkeys fight even more? No! Now more macaques share shade with each other. They also spend more time together in the mornings before the heat peaks.
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have.” (Hebrews 13:16)
