Bubble.  Splash.  What bumps the boat?  It is a pilot whale.  There are so many!  They swam around Mr. W.  He rows across the sea.

These whales live in groups called pods.

Pray: Thank God for all the amazing sea creatures He made.

Tom Waddington thought he would be alone while he rows. He is rowing more than 2,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. A huge pod of pilot whales joined him in July. They followed him for hours. They are very social. Hundreds of them form groups. Mr. Waddington thinks he saw more than 1,000! He spotted them on a soggy, rainy morning. He was feeling a bit low. The whales scared him some. They also cheered him up!

“God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves.” (Genesis 1:21)
