A car company gave students a goal.  Could they build a car?  Could the car make more energy than it uses?

Students made a car.  It uses Sun power.  It does not weigh much.  It can go, go, go!

Pray: Thank God that He is the best builder of all.

BMW makes cars in South Carolina. It asked students at Clemson University to make a car. Sixteen students built Deep Orange 17. They shaped it like a boxfish. That shape helps the car hold many solar panels. The car is covered with them! It gets energy from the Sun while it drives and while parked. Students also made the car very light. It weighs 1,212 pounds. Most cars weigh more than 4,000 pounds. This car uses less energy than it collects.

“God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31)
