This furry gold likes to hide.
Sniff, sniff. A dog found gold. It is a golden mole. People had not seen it for years.
The mole tunnels in sand dunes. It comes out at night to eat bugs. Tasty!
Pray: Thank God for making golden moles. God shows how creative He is in the creatures He has made.

People had not seen the De Winton’s golden mole in coastal South Africa for more than 80 years. It spends most of its life underground. Often the only sign of the mole is raised ridges of sand. These tunnels collapse quickly. Scientists studied up to 11 miles of sand dunes per day in 2021 to track this critter! There are 21 species of golden moles. Scientists found mole skin cells, hair, and waste in the sand. The samples proved scientists found the right mole.
“All things were created through Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:16)
