It will leap.  It will bound.  It is a baby bongo.  This calf was born a few months ago.

There are not many bongos in the wild. People hope this one will have babies of its own.

Pray people will be able to help bongos grow in numbers.

October brought a baby bongo to Woburn Safari Park in England. There are fewer than 100 eastern mountain bongos in the wild. These bongos live in the forests of Kenya, Africa. Too many people have hunted them over the years. It is against the law to kill them. Bongos also have lost much of the land where they graze. Tom Robson works at the park. He hopes this calf will grow up and have a big family.
