The National [nash-eh-nuhl] Zoo had a party!  Pandas have lived there for 50 years!

Mama and her cub ate a frozen fruit juice cake.  Sweet potatoes, carrots, and sugar cane topped the cake.  Yum!

Pray: Thank God that we can see pandas up close in our own country.

Read More: Pandas live in the wild in China. China and the United States have had an agreement for 50 years. China loans some U.S. zoos pandas to care for. Any panda cubs born at those zoos must be returned to China when they turn four years old. Giant panda mom Mei Xiang [may-sh-ONG] and her cub Xiao Qi Ji [SHEEOW-chee-jee] live at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. So does dad Tian Tian. He had a cake too. Psalm 50:10 tells us, “For every beast of the forest is mine.”
