RAGBRAI stands for Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa. It is held each July. As many as 50,000 people go to bike or watch. Writers for The Des Moines Register had the idea 50 years ago. John Karras and Don Kaul wrote about people they met in towns along the way. Now people from all over the world ride the 500 miles. They help each other on the long trip. Locals feed them pies and spaghetti.

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” (Hebrews 10:24)
