Do you want to live in a light house?  Ships do not need them to reach shore now.  People sold or gave away 10 light houses this summer.

Owners keep light houses in good shape.

Pray: Thank God for the chance to care for and mend what is run down. God is the great healer of broken things.

The United States government wants to keep lighthouses in good condition. It gives them away or sells them! Many lighthouses are over 100 years old. They need repairs. Two for sale this year could be reached only by boat! Most lighthouses are no longer needed. Technology like GPS guides ships safely to shore. Some people turn lighthouses into private or vacation homes.

God is good at healing what needs to be mended. “I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them.” (Amos 9:14)
