God made Murphy (MUR-fee) the eagle a good parent. He built a nest. He found a rock. He treated the rock like an egg!

People found a baby bird. It needed a parent. Murphy to the rescue!

Pray: Thank God for giving animals instincts to care for their little ones. God is a loving Father to all He has made.

Read More: Murphy the bald eagle lives in the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, Missouri. God gave him the instinct to care for eaglets (baby eagles). Birds watch over egg-like objects if they don’t have eggs. Murphy put a rock in his nest and screeched at people who came near it. He was a brave protector. A young eaglet in a nearby city fell from its nest. People brought it to Murphy. He fed and cared for it.

God said to the Israelites, “I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.” (Exodus 19:4)
