Do you mix paint colors?  Mr. Q. sprinkles crushed glass.  He blends many colors.  They bake in a very hot oven almost all day.

Most glass art keeps colors side by side.  This stained glass mixes them!

Pray: Thank God for the gifts of color and light. He blends colors in rainbows and sunsets all the time!

Narcissus Quagliata is a glass artist. He is 81 and lives near Mexico City, Mexico. He wanted to paint when he was young. But he kept thinking about glass. What might he do with red glass? How about blue? Most glass art divides colors with lead strips. Mr. Quagliata wanted to blend colors. Each color has certain minerals. Each heats and cools at different rates. Blended colors often break. Mr. Quagliata can heat up to 80 colors to about 1,500 degrees to fuse them.

God’s glory is like a rainbow on a rainy day. (Ezekiel 1:28)
