Mr. Moore worked at a gas station.  He worked at a car shop.  He raised goats.  What did he like best?  He made flour!

He sold healthy food.  He was a kind boss.  He lived well.

Pray: Thank God for people who use their gifts to serve Him and others.

Bob Moore was 94 when he died in February. He tried many jobs. He liked using simple equipment to make flour products. He started a milling company with his wife and two of his sons in 1974. He quit work at 50. He went to school to study the Bible. But he missed making flour! He started Bob’s Red Mill in 1978 in Milwaukie, Oregon. The company sells stone-ground grains, cereals, flours, and more. Workers share the company and profits.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another.” (1 Peter 4:10)
