Miss B. is on a team. She throws a heavy ball as far as she can. Some on her team jump hurdles. They got hurt. They could not jump.

Miss B. jumped for them!

Pray: Thank God for people who serve others. God helps us serve in the strength He provides.

There was a problem at Poland’s European Athletics Team Championships in late June. Belgium’s two athletes who run and jump hurdles had injuries. Jolien Boumkwo came to the rescue. She is a 30-year-old shot putter. Miss Boumkwo is not a fast runner. But athletes earn a point for competing in events. Belgium would lose points if no one ran hurdles. So Miss Boumkwo ran the 100 meters. She decided to “just go for it and enjoy every moment.”

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)
