Zeljko Ilicic (ZHAY-co Ee-lee-cheech) lives on a small piece of land in Central Serbia. He saved his first horse 12 years ago. He started Serbia’s first horse sanctuary in 2015. Old Hill sanctuary has welcomed about 80 horses over the years. Mr. Ilicic tries to find new, safe homes for animals. He cares for many creatures. He has nine horses, two donkeys, a buffalo, and dogs, cats, and chickens! He has seven Yorkshire pigs.

God describes a horse in Job. “He paws in the valley and exults in his strength.” (Job 39:21)
