Mrs. W. loves to run.  She won races.  Then she got hurt.  She had to rest a while.  What is a new way to keep moving?

She ran up stairs.  She won more races!

Pray: Thank God for sports that keep us active and fit.

Suzy Walsham is from Australia. She started racing at age six. She won often. Injuries slowed her down. She moved to Singapore for a job. There she ran up the stairs in tall buildings. She won a stair race in 2006. The prize was a trip to New York. There she zoomed up 1,576 stairs in the 2007 Empire State Building Run-Up. She won. She went on to win that race 10 times.

Paul reminds us that one person wins the prize in a race. God helps us run and finish the race of life. (1 Corinthians 9:24)
